Maple Chocolate Chip Cookies
INGREDIENTS
1 cup butter, room temperature
1 cup packed Maple Hill Farm - Barton, Vermont Maple Sugar
1 egg
1 cup Maple Hill Farm - Barton, Vermont – Robust Maple Syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/3 cup Maple Hill Farm - Barton Vermont Maple Sugar for decoration
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease cookie sheets.
- Sift together the flour, salt and baking soda in a medium bowl.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter and maple sugar. Add the egg, maple syrup and vanilla.
- Stir dry mixture into wet mixture until well blended. Shape into 1-inch balls and roll in maple sugar. Place on cookie sheets about 2 inches apart and flatten slightly.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
